Hello, I am Madhura and welcome to MadhurasRecipe Marathi Let’s see how to make butter or paneer makhani masala today. This is a very easy and simple recipe. No tedious work in involved in this recipe. I have taken water in cooker and also have placed a dish. I have placed a pot in it. In the pot, I have added 4 tomatoes cut into half, 1 big onion cut into big pieces, And 3-4 pieces of beet. Beet gives nice red colour which is natural. It also helps to reduce sourness in tamato. And natural sweetness is added in it. So you don’t need to add additional sugar. To give rich taste and texture to this gravy, I have taken cashew nuts. Whenever we eat any sbazi in restaurant or when it is made, it is made in large quantity. They have cashew or poppy seeds’ paste ready. But while making at home, it becomes difficult to make paste of 7-8 cashew nuts. To avoid that we will cook cashew nuts with tomatoes. Close the lid and cook on medium heat until 1 whistle. No need to cook longer. If you don’t want to use cooker, if you want to quicken this process, take a microsafe bowl. Add all ingredients in it. And microwave on high poer for just 3 minutes. I have cooked tomato, onion, beet until 1 whitle. Tomatoes are nice and soft. Onion also has become nice and soft. Take this out into blender jar. Blend it along with beet. Blend half quantity first. Add remaining half later. Add remaining ingredients. Do not use any water at all. There is a little beet juice in the pot. We will add it in the gravy later. Blend everything into smooth paste. Puree is already. You can see. It has got nice colour and texture too. It has got nice silky texture. Puree is already. Let’s begin to make sabzi. Paneer makhani. Add lots of butter almost 3-4 tsp butter into a pan. This is makhani gravy. So it should be rich. Melt the butter a little. When butter begins to melt add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and mix well. Fry for about a minute. After frying ginger garlic paste really good for about a minute. This is home made paste so it didn’t splutter after adding in butter. As it contains no water at all. I have already shared video of how to make ginger garlic paste at home recently Add the gravy. Mix well and fry until it releases oil. This is a little runny gravy. So it will splutter after adding in butter. It is very normal. You can cover and cook it if you want. Let me cover. We will cook it for about 7-8 minutes. I have cooked this gravy covered for about 10 minutes. You can see. It has spluttered a lot while cooking gravy. Do try to cover and cook this gravy. This has begun to thicken up. Add soices at this point of time. Add 1 tbsp kitchen king masala and 1 tbsp red chili powder. There is no need to add any other masala. Mix well. Fry until the spices release oil. You can see. Spices have released the oil. This means the masala is nicely cooked. It’s rawness is completely removed. Add salt to taste and a very little water to adjust the consistency of the gravy. It has got nice flavour. This gravy has got nice texture too. Add 1 tsp kasuri methi. kasuri methi increases taste. Crush kasuri methi in palms and add. So that it’s flavour is released. Add 250 gm paneer. You can fry and add paneer if you want. But I don’t like fried paneer. So I am using raw paneer. Do not cook longer after adding paneer. Cook just for about 4-5 minutes on medium heat. If you cook longer paneer looses it’s softness. It becomes a little chewy. To avoid that cook gravy on medium heat for just about 4-5 minutes after adding paneer. I have cooked paneer for about 5 minutes. It has got nice colour and awesome texture too. To add rich taste, add 1 tsp fresh cream. You also can add beaten cream (saay) instead of fresh cream. Mix well. Butter paneer or paneer makhani is already. It is looking yummy. It has got nice flavour and texture too. The gravy is nice, smooth and silky. You can serve butter paneer with naan. I have already uploaded plain paratha recipe.
